Find out a bit more about how I work with clients
About me

I usually work with young women (18+) and specialise in the following; difficulties embarking on adult life, CPTSD, low self-esteem, low-mood, anxiety and negative thought patterns, unhelpful unconscious beliefs, intrusive/obsessive thoughts and rituals, perfectionism, work stress, dating and relationships, narcissistic abuse, enmeshment in family relationships, childhood neglect and abuse, complex trauma, difficult family dynamics and estrangement, low motivation, feelings of being 'stuck' and finding meaning in life.
I work relationally, in a long-term and open ended way, so the therapeutic relationship between me and you as client is the most important thing that allows the therapy to succeed. Integrative therapy is based in psychodynamic and person-centred therapies, but I also draw on a knowledge of other techniques such as mindfulness, CBT and internal family systems to create a personalised approach for each client.

My private practice has been running for five years and for two years I was the counselling manager for a local service, where I dealt with a range of complex therapeutic issues.

I have continued my professional development into areas such as OCD, disordered eating, self-harm in women and internal family systems therapy.
I am a member of the BACP and an accredited member of the NCPS.
